Timón Printer Service is a new application from Evolución Informática that allows PDAs (Timón PDA Bar and Timón PDA Comedor) to be freed from the task of printing tickets and orders, greatly streamlining the process for placing such orders by avoiding the direct connection between PDA and Printer. It also prevents the appearance of inconvenient printed order messages.
This small application, which is installed on the server as a Windows service, consumes very little RAM and uses negligible disk space. Its operation is similar to a print queue, constantly checking whether there are tickets or orders pending to be printed. If any exist, it prints them quickly in the same order of entry, displaying a discreet process message.
Timón Printer Service is available free of charge to all users of Timón PDA Bar or Timón PDA Comedor, starting from version 10.0.
