Pending confirmation of the final details with the Ministry of Interior, we have already prepared the development for Timón Hotel to integrate with the new document registration platform for tourist establishments.
The Ministry of Interior has enabled the SES.HOSPEDAJES platform to facilitate individuals or legal entities engaged in lodging activities in submitting information about accommodated guests and establishment reservations. This submission will replace the traveler registration forms currently sent to the Police, Civil Guard, Mossos d’Esquadra, etc.
In compliance with Royal Decree 933/2021, of October 26, this submission became mandatory as of January 2, but given the technical complexity of the development and the volume of processing operations involved in its implementation, they have decided to extend the adaptation period until October 1, 2024. During this period, no sanctioning procedures will be processed.
The SES.HOSPEDAJES platform offers two methods for entering information. One is manual, requiring the user to access the platform and enter all guest data, and the other option is direct communication via webservice.
At Timón Hotel, we have developed this integration with the platform to facilitate all our users with the new guest information submission requirements.
It is important to prepare the requirements for accessing the SES.HOSPEDAJES platform in advance. Access credentials must be obtained at the time of entity registration using the form that the Secretary of State for Security will publish on the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Interior.
This registration will be carried out at https://sede.mir.gob.es/ and it will be necessary to have a valid digital certificate, either for an individual or a legal entity.
After completing the form, all necessary data to operate in the application will be obtained: credentials, establishment code, landlord code, etc.
As soon as we obtain certification from the Ministry of Interior, we will contact all our clients to update the application.
