There are paths that cannot be covered from one day to the next.

It is a philosophy we share at Timón Hotel and one that leads us, once again, to stand alongside the Amer Mallorca 5000, one of Mallorca’s most demanding and emblematic mountain races.
Last September 25 saw the presentation of the 2026 edition, which will bring together 500 runners and around a hundred volunteers in the Serra de Tramuntana on October 3.
For Timón, being part of this event again as a sponsor is a way to continue supporting sport and an initiative that highlights our island, its landscapes and, especially, the people who make it possible for this challenge to take place.
72 kilometres of effort through the Serra de Tramuntana
The Mallorca 5000 is a long-distance mountain race that covers 72 kilometres and totals 5,000 metres of positive elevation gain, crossing some of the most emblematic locations in the Serra de Tramuntana.
The race will start from the Plaça de Sóller at 6:00 and participants will have until 23:00 to complete the route, which finishes in Pollença.
Along the route, runners will take on some of the Serra’s key points, passing through areas such as Biniaraix, Cúber, Lluc, Tomir and finally Pollença.
A route that combines physical demands with a unique setting, running through the Serra de Tramuntana Natural Area, a space where respect for the environment and good practices are a fundamental part of the event.
Much more than a race
Behind an event of this kind there is much more than the kilometres covered.
There are months of preparation by runners, volunteers, the organisation, partners and teams working to ensure everything is ready when the day arrives.
At the presentation of this edition, there was also time to recall some of the moments experienced during the race’s first decade, as it reaches its tenth edition this year.
A track record that speaks of consistency and the ability to keep moving forward year after year.
And it is precisely there that we find one of the reasons we like being part of this project.
