The Ministry of Interior extends the adaptation period for the Ses.Hospedajes application until December 2, originally scheduled for October 1.
This is what the Ministry of Interior has conveyed through its official statement:
- The extension is due to technical reasons, to facilitate the interconnection and data transmission for establishments located in autonomous communities that have their own police forces.
- The ‘Registry of information for accommodation and vehicle rental companies’ will be launched in compliance with Royal Decree 933/2021, of October 26, which establishes the documentary registration and information obligations for individuals or legal entities engaged in accommodation and motor vehicle rental activities.
- The Ministry of Interior has maintained continuous dialogue with the affected sectors to facilitate their adaptation to the requirements of the new regulations and the platform where data is entered. The next meeting with representatives of the tourism sector will be held on October 4.
