Next week, our clients will have access to the new and renewed version of Timón PDA Restaurant. This new version incorporates several functional improvements, and the redesign of each screen is also noteworthy.
Among the new features, the most interesting are the following:
- When opening the application, a check is performed to detect if it has been previously opened and to open it in its place. This way, we optimize connections to the PDA user database.
- The ability to make direct quantity assignments has been added, without the need to tap the item multiple times to increment the quantity.
- From the panel, it is now possible to create an order with negative quantities to cancel a previous order, without needing to go to the item code keyboard.
- Ability to add notes related to the item family.
To these features, we must add some of the most recent ones previously mentioned on this blog:
- Timón Printer Service: which has been optimized for this new version.
- Ability to add items to a previously opened order.
- New printer for table setup.
Regarding the design:
- Complete change of background images
- Replacement of buttons with 24×24 icons
- New horizontal layout of items in the sales panel that allows viewing a longer description.
