We are already working on the next version v10.2.1.0 of our applications, which will soon be available to all our users. This version will feature several enhancements based on suggestions received over the past month, which we will be discussing on this blog.
The first is an improvement that we are sure will be appreciated by Timón Hotel users. It refers to the new option for rate entry via an annual calendar, replacing the previous Daily Rates system, which generated a line for each day of the season. The current system only generates a new record when there is a price change, which results in several processes being much faster (price calculation, rate publication to ETimón Web, etc.).
With this modification, agency contract entry allows for agile and highly visual price input for the entire season. This means periods, interspersed days, weeks, months, etc., can be selected, and the desired price and color applied. Additionally, it automatically selects dates based on parameters such as available rooms (occupancy), prices, and/or colors to make price consultation and modification as convenient as possible. At the top of the calendar, the various rates, occupancy types, services, etc. for which prices have already been entered are displayed. An intelligent autofilter system will prevent significant time loss when consulting or searching for rates.
This calendar system has also been used to streamline allotment entry and sales closures. As a result, these options will also be more visually user-friendly.
