Evolución Informática is making available to its users the new version 10.2.0 of its applications. This version includes all the new functionalities regarding the VAT change scheduled for 07-01-2010 that have been developed thanks to suggestions from our clients.
Below are some of the most relevant improvements included in this version:
Timon Hotel
- Ability to send emails via Timón MSG from the following options: reservation entry, Mailing management, guest data selection/display.
- In Mailing management, it is now possible to perform a mailing using HTML templates or directly with text written on the sending screen itself.
- Ability to send SMS to the guest’s mobile via Timón MSG from the following options: reservation entry, Mailing management, check-in, checkout, guest data selection/display.
- New phone fields added. It is now possible to indicate in the guest record the home phone, business phone, mobile, and fax.
- New field added to the guest record to mark their authorization for sending SMS.
- Parameter added to the Reservation List to filter the list by the date the reservations were entered into Timón Hotel.
- The following quarantined menu options have been restored: Export reservations to Excel and Rack label printing.
- Parameter added to the Billing and production verification list for a reservation to display bases or amounts in the list.
- Improved treasury accounting process for refund of deposits, which will display the description of the reservation for which the refund is being made.
- In the Treasury List, a field has been added to indicate that we want to exclude collections from collection invoices.
- Format added for Registration Form Printing to request the guest’s email.
- In the Theoretical Occupancy Column Verification List, when selecting the agency view, a new total per room type is displayed.
- Corrected issue that displayed an incorrect balance at checkout.
- In the checkout billing process, a parameter has been added to group direct bookings into a single invoice.
- Corrected issue in the checkout billing process that did not properly refresh extras added to the invoice.
- Room Type and applicable days fields added to the minimum stay configuration in agency contracts.
- Control added for new identity documents for foreigners.
- In allotments, it is now possible to indicate a warning allotment.
- In the Occupancy forecast by room type summary list, days that are below the warning allotment configured in the agency appear in red. Additionally, a parameter has been added to show only agencies with warning allotment.
- Corrected issue when applying agency discounts to reservations with more than one stay.
- In manual invoices/credits, it is now possible to indicate the tax percentage to apply. By default, the percentage corresponding to the indicated date will be displayed.

Commissary Helm
- In the Suppliers by items list, a mark appears to identify the last supplier from whom the item was purchased.
- In the Suppliers by items list, a parameter has been added to display the inventory price of items.
- In the Items by family list, a parameter has been added to display last purchase information.
- Added to the invoice generation process from delivery notes the ability to insert other differences that cause discrepancies between our invoice and the supplier’s.
- In the received invoices list, the other differences screen for the invoice is displayed when double-clicking on it.
- In purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices, it is now possible to indicate the tax percentage to apply. By default, the percentage corresponding to the indicated date will be displayed.
Timón Accounting
- When accounting for a remittance in portfolio, by default it displays the same date indicated in the search parameters.
- Invoice date added to the Pending due dates list.
- A button has been added in Predefined Balances to duplicate balances from existing ones.
- In invoice records, it is now possible to indicate the tax percentage to apply. By default, the percentage corresponding to the indicated date will be displayed.
Timón POS Restaurant
- Room Service List added.
- Functionality added for the scheduled change of the tax percentage configured in the company.
Timón POS Shop

Timón POS Reception
- Corrected issue that allowed creating a safe deposit box ticket without indicating any safe deposit box.

ETimón Web

Rudder Access
- Adaptation to the latest version of Vingcard.
- Functionality added to configure a multi-establishment or individual establishment Timón Access.
Timón POS Telephone
- Functionality added to configure a cHar switchboard with the File protocol.
Timón HR
- In the Import Time Stamps option, it is now possible to select the software version of the personnel entry control system provider.
- In the C34 generation, it is now possible to indicate the date on which the bank should execute the orders sent electronically from this option.
Additionally, this version includes two new applications that are installed as a Windows service and join the Timón Hotel family. They are as follows:
MSG Rudder
Viewer for messages (email and SMS) sent and pending sending from Timón Hotel applications. From this application, all configuration of outgoing email servers and user account configuration for SMS packages is performed. It also allows scheduling SMS sending times and their priority level.
Timón MSG Service
Windows service that periodically reviews the queue of pending messages and performs the corresponding sending according to the indicated configuration.
Timón CTS (Timón Telephone Exchange Service)
Windows service that replaces the current Timón Telephone Exchange for cases where we have configured a cHar switchboard to operate via the File protocol.
