Improved Occupancy Tracking

Last July, we announced a new and important feature added to Timón Alta Dirección, which allowed for occupancy tracking for any of our establishments and therefore contributed to facilitating and streamlining decision-making in such a dynamic sector.

In the latest version 9.0, the same option has been incorporated into Timón Hotel to track the active establishment. Furthermore, thanks to our clients’ suggestions, we have taken the opportunity to improve the previous option. The new window is currently divided into 6 sections, which are explained below:

1. Parameters: Here we indicate the establishment to consult (in Timón Hotel, this will be the active establishment) and the date from which we want to view the occupancy information.
2. Budgeted or Forecasted Occupancy: In this section, we will manually indicate the occupancy planned for each month of the season.
3. Current Season Occupancy: This section will display the actual and forecasted occupancy for each month of the season on a specific date. For example, the occupancy on January 1st for the months of January, February, March… December; the occupancy on January 15th for the same months, on January 30th for the same months, etc. These occupancy records can be entered manually or scheduled for Timón Hotel to enter them according to the periodicity indicated in its configuration, for example, every 7 days or daily.
4. Previous Season Occupancy: Here we will see the occupancy the establishment had in the previous season for the same or closest date. This way, we can analyze the real status of our establishment. To facilitate this analysis, current season values that are lower than the previous season will appear in red.
5. Differences: This section will show the difference in occupancy percentages between both seasons. As with current occupancy, negative differences will appear in red.
6. Observations: Finally, we will have a field to indicate the observations corresponding to each record. This way, we can note our conclusions or the reasons why the occupancy differs from what was expected.
