The upcoming version 10.1 of Timón Hotel, among other improvements that we will discuss in this blog, will include adaptation to the latest version (1.4) of the ICAP document reader from Inhova software. In this version, we have improved the integration with ICAP by obtaining all the fields read by this reader on both sides.
By integrating this document reader with Timón Hotel, you will greatly streamline the check-in process at your establishment, as in just a couple of seconds all the information from the guest’s document (ID cards, passports, identity cards, residence permits, etc.) is inserted into our application’s card index, eliminating any possibility of errors due to traditional manual entry. In the case of repeat guests, the process will only update the guest’s record with the current document information, so you will always easily maintain an up-to-date guest file, which will be essential if your establishment implements loyalty programs.
